Lizzie Foronda is a self-taught artist currently living in Japan. She has been drawing since the first grade, where she was encouraged by her teachers to draw pictures from story books, and to sketch animals from nature magazines. As she became older, and her love for art grew, she began taking inspiration from her favourite cartoons and video games for her drawings, helping her develop her artistic style.
She uses coloured pencil and watercolour to make expressive and emotional pieces, with the female form, and animals being staple imagery in her work.
